About Will Hart - Cosmic Ancestry

The theory of Cosmic Ancestry has its roots in the thesis proposed by Greek philosopher Anaxagoras who claimed that life on Earth originated elsewhere in the Universe. He called his proposal panspermia, which translated means 'seeds everywhere'. Scientists Sir Francis Crick and Leslie Orgel added 'directed' to that concept to infer that an alien race had deliberately seeded our planet.  They presented their theory in a scientific paper published in 1972. The author has simply changed the name to better convey the idea to the general public interested in the scientific view of the origins of life, mankind and civilization...

Will Hart

Journalist and author, his work has appeared in many magazines including Atlantis Rising, New Dawn, Nexus, UFO, Sierra Heritage, Wild West and Nature Photographer. His first book 'The Genesis Race - Our Extraterrestrial DNA' was published by Inner Traditions in 2003 and is still available on Amazon.

Hart's many article about history's mysteries and cosmic ancestry can be found in the back issues of Atlantis Rising, New Dawn and Nexus. His forthcoming book, the second in The Genesis Race is subtitled Cosmic Ancestry and will be available on Amazon in late August, 2014.

Directed Panspermia

Crick and Orgel did not just come up with a novel idea about how life emerged on earth as an academic exercise. They were pressed by the fact that Darwin's spontaneous generation thesis had failed and science had no viable theory to replace it with.

In fact, that is still the case today. You can find articles addressing this issue and explaining the basics of their theory by clicking on the BLOG button...

Sir Francis Crick

The late scientist received the Nobel Prize for having co-discovered the shape of DNA. Later, he advanced the theory of directed panspermia with Leslie Orgel in a paper they published in 1972.

Leslie Orgel

A chemist, he is acknowledged today as the father of the RNA world. The pair were experts in genetics and argued that the earliest life forms on earth were too complex to have evolved in such a short time. That argument was later picked up by the Intelligent Design school of thought...but it is relevant to Cosmic Ancestry.

Cosmic Ancestry, proving that truth is indeed stranger than fiction...
Alien Civilizations

This is the author's latest book which expands the theory of Directed Panpseermia. He makes no claims that Crick and Orgel (both deceasced) had any part in the additions to their basic theory.

Nonetheless, the core theory remains intact. You can find out how the latest space researh results are confirming the theory that life exists out there....by going to the Blog...
